Pickleball/Basketball Court

Status of Project - August 23, 2026 - Building this picketball/basketball court was a first for us and has been fun to watch come together. However, the weather was not our friend on this project. Rain delayed the moisture content getting where it needed to be to paint and then the heat prevented painting when it was too hot. The paint is done now. Fencing is up and final dirt work completed. Pending is basketball hoop and pickleball net installed. A different hoop was ordered than the original which delayed things a bit. We hope to be done by the end of September.

Status of Project - June 23, 2026 - Excavation of site prep done; fence posts installed; concrete pour complete. Currently awaiting adequate moisture test result required to apply court paint.

Status of Project - June 4, 2026 - Pre-construction photos and Excavation

Remove existing asphalt in ranch roads. Widen roads and improve road base. Apply new asphalt. To begin after Hay Season (after August 1, 2026)

Status of Project - August 20, 2026 - Siding install in progress, drywall to be finished August 26. Masonry and painting of walls and ceiling to follow.

Status of Project - August 9, 2026 - Roofing installed, rough-in electrical complete, concrete flatwork done, all wall insulation and blown-in ceiling in living quarters finished, siding install in progress and drywall scheduled for next week.

Status of Project - July 9, 2026 - Septic system install approved by Missoula County Health Department. Raptor Plumbing completed their rough-in and the Missoula County inspections for mechanical and plumbing approved. Next week roofing installation begins followed by rough-in electrical.

Status of Project - June 23, 2026 - Stenerson Brothers Excavation is prepping for power and gas lines, sump, septic system, pad for propane tank and inspections. Spartan Air Pro is installing their rough-in mechanical. The walk-thru with Snow Mountain Electric is complete as is the final measure for the cabinets which have been ordered.

Status of Project - June 15, 2026 - Roof dry-in completed, floor cleaned, sealed and covered. We’re now ready for rough-in mechanical, plumbing and electrical.

Status of Project - May 23, 2026 - Additional photos of the build.

Status of Project - May 19, 2026 - A few additional photos of the entrance to the ADU from the porch/deck and of the bedroom after made larger by elimination of a wall. Next is roof dry-in, field measurement of cabinets, then floors finished in ADU. We remain on schedule using the original schedule.

Status of Project - May 15, 2026 - Framers kicked butt and finished in two weeks. They did an amazing job. We are technically ahead of schedule but a missing window may put some obstacles in front of us. Check out the drone photos taken by our client, Jon. Very cool. Also a photo of them watching the progress and of Janice looking out her kitchen window.

Status of Project - May 1, 2026 - Inspection completed and concrete poured and cured ready for framers to begin May 4, 2026, We continue to stay on schedule. Note the soon-to-be occupant checking things out and also supervising the concrete pour while sipping her morning coffee.

Status of Project - April 17, 2026 - Finish concrete prep with radiant tubing for inspection on April 20, 2026.

Status of Project - September 10, 2025: We’re down to the final wire. Final walk-thru with client is tomorrow.

Status of Project - August 19, 2025: It has been a busy couple of weeks. Marble Creek Construction has been working hard getting door hardware/openers installed and all other finish carpentry work done (mailbox, signs, fire extinguishers, grab bars, etc). There were a lot of parts to the finish work and it all looks amazing; Northwest Interior Contracting’s ceiling grid tile work looks perfect and was right on schedule; Snow Mountain Electric never lets us down and has been finishing up getting the telephone line into the building, running power for circulating pump and on-demand hot water heater, and installing a service outlet in the mechanical room (among other things); Pierce Flooring completed the floor installation in record breaking time and it looks great; 4G Plumbing and Heating has finished up and has completed the adjustment and balance test; Counter Solutions built and installed the cabinets and countertops and did an incredible job as they are known to do; Haskins Excavation has done their usual exceptional work preparing for concrete flat work and valley gutters and finish excavation work. Everything is coming together nicely. We feel fortunate to have these professionals on our team.

Status of Project - August 1, 2025: Northwest Interior Contracting installed the ceiling grid tiles; Energy Partners set the propane tank; Snow Mountain Electric doing rough-in and some finish work; Pump it Up Pump service installed the well pump and pressure tank; painting to be ready for finish carpentry next week. We’re moving along.

Status of Project - July 25, 2025: Riska Insulation completed the attic insulation; Hal Brown Painting is on schedule and doing a great job; 4G Plumbing and Heating is ahead of schedule and has the AC unit placed, the garage exhaust fan installed, the sensors in garage area installed; Haskins Excavation is in the process of backfilling and concrete prep around the building, has backfilled around the well, installed bollards, dug ditch and placed conduit for power and telephone, installed the catch basins at 4 corners of building for the downspouts, and built gravel pads for AC unit and propane tank. Northwest Energy installed the power line and meter. There is now power to the building; Marble Creek Construction installed all the doors, trim, and window frames on schedule. We have a great team and are grateful for our hardworking and dedicated subcontractors and vendors.

Status of Project - July 17, 2025: Western Montana Roofing completed the siding and roofing install and worked hard to stay on schedule. Riska Insulation, once again for us, completed the wall installation of the insulation. Western Drywall never disappoints and got the drywall completed within the timeframe. We are very grateful for our hardworking, loyal and dedicated subs, vendors, and the State inspection staff for their hard work and support.

Status of Project - July 3, 2025: Western Montana Roofing has stepped up to take over the siding installation portion of this project and began June 30, 2025. Thanks to Zach Westre and his hard working and skilled team, they should complete both the siding install AND roofing this week. Wall insulation to begin July 7th and drywall delivered July 9th with hanging to begin July 10th.

Status of Project - June 26, 2025: 4G Plumbing and Heating installed insulation as required on duct work; siding install delayed. Western Montana Roofing will now be doing siding installation along with the roofing and will begin Monday, June 30, 2025. We are still on task for completing the siding and roofing install per the May 17, 2025 construction schedule. Our thanks to those on the team who are keeping us on schedule. You are appreciated.

Status of Project - June 17, 2025: Siding material on job site; 4G 90% of rough-in complete but ready for siding install; site visit with owners, architect and engineers completed; inspections completed and ready for siding install; septic drain field installed and currently cordoned off to prevent construction activities from occurring on top.

Status of Project - June 7, 2025: Framing inspection and rough-in electrical in conditioned space inspection completed; Western Drywall installed drywall lid in conditioned space; Western Montana Roofing’s vendor produced roofing material on-site; Montana Plumbing completed rough-in plumbing; 4G in the process of completing rough-in mechanical; siding take-off finalized and Epic Steel has it in production and will be ready next week.

Deconstruction and Relocation of Power - Deconstruction of existing home, carport, shop and chicken coop and relocation of power completed July 11, 2023. Reuse, repurpose, recycle. We are very pleased to have put most of the material from these buildings back to good use instead of ending up in the landfill. Great job Waste Less Works!

Status of Project - November 13, 2020 - Interior painting complete, rough-in mechanical complete. Electrical rough-in in progress. Drop ceilings scheduled for next week.

Status of Project - November 6, 2020 - Interior painting in progress. Ready to finish rough-in mechanical and electrical.

Status of Project - October 30, 2020 - Drywall, tape completed. Spray texture scheduled for Monday with interior painting planned for Tuesday if all dries.

Status of Project - October 23, 2020 - Drywall in progress.

Status of Project - October 11, 2020 - Exterior paint, insulation, storefront glass, windows, gutters and downspouts complete. Ready for drywall.

Status of Project - September 25, 2020 - Rough-in electrical complete and inspections approved for HVAC plumbing, and electrical. Storefront glass, windows, rigid insulation, siding and trim has begun.

Status of Project - September 17, 2020 - Rough-in plumbing and HVAC complete. Rough-in electrical began early to be completed next week. Roof installed. Next week, door frames and siding installed.

Status of Project - September 11, 2020 - Rough-in plumbing and HVAC. Next week begins rough-in electrical, roof installation, and fabrication of window frames.

Status of Project - September 4, 2020 - Rough in mechanical and plumbing begins next week.

Trusses delivered August 31, 2020. Status of project end of day August 31.

Week of August 10, 2020 - Framing began Tuesday afternoon. Ready for trusses on Friday afternoon. (Truss install delayed until August 31, 2020 due to availability of crane)

Week of August 3, 2020 - Sidewalk and stair prep, backfill, poured sidewalks and stairs. Reading for framing.

Installed water line to curb stop, installed sewer line to existing, backfilled and compacted to foundation, prepped for sidewalks, landings and ramp. July 20-29, 2020 - PLEASE NOTE THAT PHOTOS ARE TAKEN BY VARIOUS SOURCES AND MAY NOT BE POSTED IN THE ORDER THE WORK OCCURRED

Poured footings, formed and poured walls, stripped walls, damp proofed, and concrete sealed top 12 inches of foundation wall around perimeter. All testing completed. July 13-17, 2020

Prep site for footings/foundation. Compaction testing complete. Footings being prepped July 10 for pour on July 13 - July 6-9, 2020
